How to get the most from Zomodus

Getting started
Click Get started and enter your email — we send a one-click link that both signs you in and creates your account, so there's no password to remember. You land on your dashboard.
Hit + New questionnaire. Tell Zomodus the occasion (customer feedback, an event, employee engagement…), your objectives, how you'll collect responses, and your industry. Click Draft with Smart Composer, review and tweak the questions, then Create survey. You'll get a shareable link and QR immediately.
Designing a good survey
Zomodus follows recognised questionnaire-design practice, and you should too when you edit. The essentials:
- Keep it short. The best response rate comes from the shortest survey that still answers your objective. On-the-spot QR surveys should be three or four questions.
- One idea per question. Avoid double-barrelled questions like “was the food fresh and served quickly?” — split them, or you won't know which part people meant.
- Stay neutral. Ask “How would you rate the service?”, not “How great was our amazing service?” Leading questions bias your answers and make the report worthless.
- Logical order. Start with an easy, on-topic question; group related items; put any demographic or classification question last.
- Match the scale to the question. Zomodus keeps ratings on a consistent 1–5 and the recommend question on 0–10 so the analysis works.
Start from your objectives: every question should help answer something you actually want to know. If a question doesn't, cut it.
Choosing question types
Zomodus gives you a full toolkit beyond star ratings:
- Rating (1–5): for anything you want to score and track — service, quality, value.
- Recommend (0–10): the NPS anchor, always kept, powers your Net Promoter Score.
- Single choice / dropdown: pick one — e.g. “How did you hear about us?”
- Multiple choice: pick several — e.g. “Which services did you use?”
- Yes / No: quick classifiers — e.g. “Is this your first visit?”
- Short text: a name, a role, one open detail.
- Number: counts — e.g. “How many in your group?”
- Open-ended: free comments, which Zomodus clusters into themes with real quotes.
A single-choice, yes/no or dropdown question does double duty: Zomodus can split your whole report by the answer, so you see, say, first-timers versus regulars.
Reading your report
Open View report on any campaign. From the top:
- Headline scores: overall satisfaction (out of 5), NPS, and a composite health score.
- Trend vs last period: for ongoing surveys, how the numbers moved, with a write-up of what's improving and what's slipping.
- Your priorities: the areas that most drive overall satisfaction and where you score lowest — fix these first.
- Question breakdown: how people answered each choice, text and number question.
- How groups differ: your results split by a classification question, with the biggest gap called out.
- Voice of the customer: themes from open comments, with real quotes.
- Recommended next steps: concrete actions drawn from the feedback.
